This has been circulating facebook via my aquaponic acquaintances.  My only request would be please don't apply to this unless you are well educated in aquaponics.  I don't want some random lolo dummy to represent aquaponics on national T.V.  "I'm a Casting Producer with FOX's Utopia and we are currently looking to cast a skilled and capable aquaponics farmer for the show. On our show, 15 strangers from all different backgrounds/skill sets work together to build a whole new world - just the way they want it. This could be a unique and exciting opportunity for you or one of your co-workers, and it could lead to national exposure for aquaponics. It would also be a great way to showcase the importance of sustainability and aquaponics to the rest of America. There is a paid stipend and additional financial help while you are away filming. I'm contacting you in case this is something that you or someone you know might be interested. You can also watch a brief video about the show at http://utopiatvcasting.com Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like more information. I'd be happy to set up an interview if you're interesting in pursuing this further. Best, Amy Lee | Casting Producer | "Utopia" The Conlin Company | 6700 S. Continuing to seek individuals with a desire to find the cure.
The problem is greed, starvation, corruption. Many claim aquaponics is the answer. I believe it is a part of the solution. I have a plan that involves many aspects to address the problem. If your tired of the business as usual or your frustration is reaching a peak with how inhumane current society can be and seek an opportunity for a dedicated community to make a better future. Do not let insecurity keep you from an honorable destiny. You can email me direct jerroponics@gmail.com.

Can live in a healthy community setting willing to work side by side as we take on this new adventure. Interns to retirees, family, alternative lifestyles are encouraged to apply. I will consider anyone's person situation. I know there are many who just want to get there foot in the door in aquaponics. Let me hear from you. Hello Aquaponics community,

I am looking for someone with experience in building large scale pond aquaponic systems, to help me design a terraced aquaponic garden. I have recently accepted to take on a project constructing an aquaponic system which will supply fresh produce to a restaurant on the property in California. The owner is in the process of installing an 8,000 gallon infinity fish pond which will cascade into a trough. The water will then flow to a series of terraced grow beds which will be installed on a slope in front of the pond. I have a few years of experience but not enough to design a system like this. If anyone thinks they are ambitious and experienced enough to take on this exciting project please email me at andrew_w_o@hotmail.com.

 Thanks!

Today I started a We the People Petition to encourage the U.S. military to create new job opportunities in aquaponics. There is a clear shortage of jobs in aquaponics at present, but by signing this petition, hopefully a presidential response (100,000 signatures for that) will bring about a higher awareness of such a cool and promising food production system. Below is a link to the petition, takes a couple minutes.
