- My wife and I have had fresh and saltwater aquariums since we were children. We have grown mangroves in the sump of our 125 gal saltwater system before we had to take it down. We have also been avid gardeners for years. We became interested in aquaponics and decided that this was the way to go. We are interested in putting in some greenhouses in our backyard to try different fish and plants in them. We would eventually like to start selling at local farmers markets.
