Hi Dr Benny, I would love to be invited to the AquacultureHub, my email is Minerva.rose@Hotmail.com. I've got some plans drawn up, and many questions for you!! :-) My basic design is a pond- 3.7m long, 3m wide, with a slope of .5m-2m deep. Next to the pond (along the 3.7m length) are my 4 grow beds, they are 7m long with a 75cm surface area (made with a rounded bottom...so not regular rectangle). I will start with 1 grow bed of lettuce, then add the remaining 3 beds as I get the funds, and as my fish grow.....I will be keeping koi. Here come the questions!! Could you walk me through an appropriate airlift pump for this set up? What would the flow rate be? how many koi would I need?, how could I include the tea maker, and if I want to grow a variety of vegetables with different nutrient requirements in the same system, can I control the nutrient levels in each separate bed, or would it be best to grow vegetables that have the same requirements? Also, could you walk me through an airlift pump for a little spring we have in the back paddock. It is 1m deep, I would want to pump 9m high and up to 100m distance away ( last 50m down slight slopping hill) Thanks for listening Dr Benny, I will eagerly await your reply, and any questions you may have if I've left something out. Regards Miranda. :-)
