    I learned the most through the news letters of Friendly Aquaponics in Hawaii. You learn there that there is no money in raising fish on a small scale. The money is in the vegetable. If I can be of help, let me know. Come over and see our system if you like.

    Hi there, Curt Decker here. Next time you're in the valley you need to take a 'field trip to a guy off Baseline Rd and 29th Ave. He uses wading pools for stock. He sells the tilapia but  your objective is to see his vastness. 2nd. contact John Healy 602=618=1771. Text works best. email- cowboyjeh3@yahoo.com. He has breeding tanks. Explained a lot to me. I have 135gal. tank. Looking to expand to totes with veggies for my wife. I bought fry from him. $.50-$1. They are growing. 20+ fish will fill the tank by summer. Learning filtration and cycling water is high priority.. Feed store at baseline and 7th sells tilapia food in 50# bags. $28. One bag will see you through a lot of learning curve.
