Please tell us something else about yourself.: i am an environmental science student at Sierra Nevada College on the north shore of lake Tahoe. coming from a soil based, greenhouse background for the past several years in Humboldt, CA, i transferred to the tahoe basin and became inspired to find out how efficient and productive aquaponics is for myself. i currently have system up that utlizes almost 100% up cycled (and free)materials. the tank now holds 15 black bass in 75 gallons of water. agriculture in an alpine climate is basically unheard of, and i am in process of solving that problem through aquaponics .this has been a great learning process and i see aquaponics being a part of my future for as far as i can see. i am hooked.
