    John     Thanks for the reply. I'm able to buy minnows [fatheads] from the local fish suppliers who come to town once a month in the winter for local pond stocking. We buy several hundred to stock our own private fishing holes along with catfish and bream. I just think minnows may be my answer to aquaponics as we catch all the other fish we need while baby sitting. Kids fishing poles beer make good stories.

     By the way I was told 20# of minnows would produce to 400# in about 18 months. Now if I can just learn more about growing them.     Thanks again.
