I am responsible for R&D at Growstone, a company based in NM, which manufactures a highly porous aggregate-type substrate made from recycled glass - Growstones.
I am interested in being a part of, learn from and possibly contribute to the discussion on growing media alternatives for Aquaponics, with positive feedback. Big emphasis on the learning part.

"Hello Paula" Welcome to the community.
I wonder if the grow stones you speak of are the same stones that are said to be used as a growing media for aquaponics. I am about to start a grow system with a 150 gal. fish tank and two 50 gal. grow beds and a grow media is near the top of my list of things I must acquire.
