    Welcome Robert,

Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community!  I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics.  There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions.  Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.

A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page.  You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.

Please add a profile image, participate and check in with us every day!  We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.

Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.

    Welcome Robert :-)

I am sure that you agree that Aquaponics is the fantastic way  to grow both fish and vegetables naturally. Love to see some pictures of your system.

    God bless :-)

Thank you for the advice of the PH. funny thing is I have 2 systems one the rocks are just in the bottom of the tank and the other one they are in a swirl filter. the one with them in the bottom always has a diffident Ph then last test. think there is just not enough water movement going by the corral... guess you learn something new everyday. moved the corral to the flowing aria and this evening its back up... maybe to fast lost a few. the others seam sluggish There is one Male doing much better then the others with the ph dropping then back up. He acts like all the others in the stable tank. Think he is getting promoted to a breeder no dinner plat for him. maybe get a more resilient tilapia.

Robert, sorry I did not get back to you sooner.  I never saw your response until this morning.  I may be looking for some tilapia next week if you still have them.  Do you know anyone looking for lettuce rafts?  I'm looking at Beaver Plastics out of Canada, product is very good and reasonably priced, but the shipping is outrageous.

Thanks Robert, I will give them a call tomorrow.  If I can get my system cycled by next week I will give you a call about the fish.  Thanks.
