I am a recent Biology graduate with a background in field and lab research. I am inspired and excited by the possibilities aquaponics holds for the future of urban food production.

After much book learning, I am ready to start my own aquaponics system. I can't wait to experiment and learn all I can about aquaponics.

I am happy to have a community to share the experience with!

    Oma is right there in Portland and I am sure she would love to show you what there system is like.  You are also welcome to come to Washington and visit if you get the chance, we are about 3 hours from you.

    We are leaving town today for the week end but will be back Monday.  Glad to show you what we have.  It's small and just in our kitchen,  and we are in the early stages of building a greenhouse in the back yard with Rick Stillwagon.  We are hoping the larger greenhouse will lead to commercial greenhouses.  It's very additive once you get going.  You can call us @ 503 284-4316 early next week and we will set something up.  We live just off Alberta on 19th.

    When and where is that event?  I tried to google but I got neighborhood associations from all other states.  If it is Tri Met busable I can probably make plans to attend.  I would like to meet you.

    Ok I will try and be there if the weather is good.  Ann Forsthoefel wanted to meet up with me too so I gave her the same info.  She suggested that we three come about a half hour early to meet up.  It might be easier to find each other if we do that.  Let me know if that works for you.  I don't have a booth so we can look around.  Citybounty is too new.  Looking forward to meeting you.

    Hi Anne,

    I scouted the location for Sunday and if I get there it would be easy to meet near the main sign post that says GermanTowne Square.

    If it is raining I would like to meet another time.  If you want to send me an email at admin@citybounty.com I will give you my phone number so we can coordinate better as the time gets closer.  

    I will try again to arrange to meet with Ann and maybe we can all get together afterall at some later point.
