Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.
Please add a profile image, participate and check in with us every day! We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.
Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.
I'm posting a bunch of literature on the technique on our website, BrightAgrotech.com. Click on the "Downloads" link at the bottom of the page. I'll be adding literature over the next couple weeks. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
A while back i saw and ad in the paper where Lowes ships to T'ad. Go online and look at their international section, you can order it there and they ship directly. Personally I'm using the 1" eps and after 3 1/2 mths they are fine. If you look at peter's post(under foam in raft group) you'll see he's been using 1" eps hydroponically for 4 years without issues. I also think the 1" gives a better/slightly faster grow-out.
How did you determine how many fish to add to your system since you have xx amount of gallons in your tank and you also have water in your raft system. Is the water in the raft system part of the calculation?
Nigel it was very good to meet you at the conferance allso was glad to meet your son at the training at ginas, was good to talk with and here about your system and your island.allso if you are able to scan the training manual to your computer would love to get an email or download thanks and keep in touch JOHN T,

Nigel, I'm so sorry...I just saw you asked me a question about foam, at the begging of June....and here it's almost the end of July...![](http://www.bkserv.net/images/Frown.gif)

Nigel,
Sorry to hear about your mishap. Hope you get some new fish soon and move ahead.
I'll be sure to check my okra roots, when I remove them.
