- I have worked as a certified wastewater treatment operator and manager for more than 20 years. My experience includes domestic and industrial wastewater treatment, as well as groundwater remediation. My interest in Aquaponics follows a natural progression of water quality interests. I views Aquaponics as a wastewater treatment system with the added benefit of producing food. My microsystem is a great tool for learning about aquaponics.
I have had the opportunity to work with 2 commercial AP systems in Colorado and assisted with building the new facility at the Grow Haus, in Denver.

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Main page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful. Also, consider joining the Colorado Aquapons group (see Groups tab above).
