Another note about the water mine even on the colest night and days so far only drop to 61 deg thus helping with the heat or freeze warnings

Water is a huge heat sink. If it is standing but even a few degrees above freezing or running, it will transfer the heat to your plants. Orchards on freezing nights will flood irrigate for this reason. The liquid water even though cold to us is hot when compared to the air and this heat warms the orchard enough to prevent the fruit from freezing. The same is true for your aquaponics. Naturally a very hard freeze or freezing wind can overcome this effect but it works often enough.
No freeze damage.
i've heard that running water on the roots will keep a plant from freezing, so just by running your system should help

So we're in a freeze warning today, does anybody do anything special for their outside systems during frost warnings? I'm probably just going to try to cover everything with frost cloth tonight.
