Huck’s Fishing Hole is a Tilapia fish breeder and hatchery. We are one of the very few Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife licensed/registered Aqua Farms authorized to breed, hatch, grow, hold, transport, import and sell Tilapia.
We have Pure Strain Super Male T. Hornorum improved body (Wami) fingerlings. T. Hornorum is also referred to as Wami Tilapia. The name Wami Tilapia is derived from the Wami River in Southeast Africa in whose waters this extraordinary fish originated and flourish today.

We feature Super Male T. Hornorum Pure Strain Super Male T. Hornorum bred to the O, Mossambicus (Mozambique). This breeding of the two strains, produce the now famous All Male off spring that grow quickly to become very large fish. They carry larger filets when grown out.

We also have Pure Strain Male and Female Blue Tilapia Fingerlings.

We only have ''swim up fry'' that will be ready to ship soon. Contact us by email to reserve some. No deposit required.

We prefer to ship west of the Mississippi. Ask about Huck's Improved Tumbler Hatchery.

Phil-

I am interested in the Blue fingerlings.  What is your going price and would you ship to Central Wisconsin.  My concern would be the temperatures at time of shipping.  Could I get a price rundown sheet?

Leo White Bear

Hello Again Leo -

I sell pure strain blue Tilapia fingerlings.  These Known in some parts of the world as "St. Peters Fish", after the bible story about Jesus sending Apostle Peter to look into the mouth of the first fish he caught, for a coin to pay the temple tax, our Blue tilapia fingerlings are identical to the ones swimming in the Sea Of Galilee over two thousand years ago. They can grow to over nine pounds and 24 inches in length. In the wild, Blue tilapia live naturally in water ranging from 47º F to 86º F but they can tolerate water as warm as 106º F. Blue tilapia are the most temperature forgiving of all the tilapia species, making them perfect for multi-year growing in areas where winter pond temperatures are a concern.

We sell 100 - 1 inch mixed sex blue tilapia for $199.00 including shipping which is about $60.00.

Due to their temperature needs, I recommend that you get set  up for some aquariums with heated water - several 50 watt heaters off eBay are best.  Also let's wait until spring so they do not freeze in the delivery truck.

Sounds good.  Gives me time to save the money.  So we are looking at $260. total, or is the price of shipping in the $199. On a limited budget, I can earmark the cost over the winter.  I appreciate your quick reply.

Thanks-

I'm sure we'll be talking in the mean time.  Stay warm, temps here right now are 19°F with a chance of hitting around 40.  Yoo hoo Heat wave!!

The $199.00 price includes shipping.  New website up soon.
