Why

Because I felt the need to create some threads or a specific place for me to start compiling info about my systems because other than my blog post about building my 300 gallon system, I don't think I've done a good job of showing what my systems are here (I've got over 100 pages of system thread on my big system over on BYAP but that isn't here.)

For those interested in an abbreviated version of my system thread at least through the first summer, here is a blog where I'm trying to do just that.
TCLynx's Big System, How it all Started

And I'm sure I'll expand to include more ideas later. It will make a good place for people to start threads to ask questions of me specifically as I'm sure to pay more attention to a group I start than the the site in general.

Hey TC, I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to post all of this! Really great information, especially the diagrams, photos and your discussion about indexing valves. 'preciate it!

So I'm uploading lots and lots of pictures from my original big system build and realizing that many of the things I did way back when were "BAD IDEAS" I need a bad idea water mark to put on some of those pictures so that people seeing the slide show on the front page won't figure they should do it because they saw a picture of some one else doing it.
Need something to plaster across the picture so people will read the description or something to learn which part of it to be warned about!!!

Ok, so there are a couple of siphons in there but there are more/better siphon diagrams over on the BYAP thread if what I did doesn't quite figure you out.

Ok, I've put a link to it up with the other links.
I may bring some of the pictures over here but I only really feel comfortable doing that with the ones I drew. (which don't include the siphons.)

Do you mean the useful diagrams thread? I've never done a siphons thread.

Please post your thread on Siphons with the graphics. Great stuff. Lots of us are mystified by Siphons. Thanks again for creating this group.

I figure the Aquaponic Lynx is a Catfish.

Hum, title?

Ducks Chasing Butterflies?

I think you need a title. Maybe Catfish queen or I know I know what you do is like a performance art. Sort of like a dance with chickens and Ducks surrounded by plants and Plumbing sculptures. That is it. You are an Aquapon Sculptress. I am excited to see that you may move some of your BYAP info here as it is excellent info. Its the TCLynx channel.
