Sac State / DFW aquaponics project with native/threatened/endangered species

(moving recent Comment from Fishy McFisherson to a Discussion so that we can track communication on the subject better over time - PT. He wrote: ) Just caught wind that CSU Sacramento (Sac-State) is working on an aquaponics project in cooperation with DFG and another (unknown) state agency with the hope of focusing on native threatened/endangered species. I've encouraged the person to join the forum, and the Sacramento group to let us know about more about the project.

Still have not heard anything about the Sac State program- does anyone know more yet?
