Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

As you guys know I live in Jamaica, and loving it. :D

I am constructing a dwc aquaponic system this hoilday at my university (University of the West Indies). Despite MANY holdups it looks like we are reciving the funding to start construction.

However the MD2 aquatic systems pump does not seem to be available here, what i have found it a sump pump called Little Giant (1200 gallons per hour) http://franklin-electric.com/wastewater/little-giant-wastewater/sum...
does anyone have any experience or insight on this brand

Give thanks mon

I have used Little giant pumps for 20 years.  Smaller than you are looking at, I have used them to pump water from a water barrel in my greenhouse.  They are very reliable and easy to maintain.

Thanks much!!!!!!
I think i will go with one because i cannot find the aquatic eco system MD2 pump here on the Island
