2 inch foam boards

Hi, Im trying to find the boards but Home Depot and Lowes are not helping much. I have learned that Dow calls their product Styrofoam and that Owens Corning calls their product Foamular. Finding 2 inches is the problem. Also, if I get the Blue from Dow, do we scape the blue off? I seem to remember that Green Acre's had a problem with it. Any advice???

At HD in my area the Dow blue foam board is just past the lumber with the othe types of insulation.

Did you try and ask them for it ? ask them where the insulation is - its right there with it,

Paint over the whole thing with a latex based paint, cut the holes, paint again

As far as i have been able to find they only make the DOW boards with the score lines which is a little weaker, some people have got around this by using self sticking plastic sheeting (like window lamination) to strengthen it and also add a layer of UV protection
