Due to demand for fry/fingerlings we moved up the temperature in the breeding colony tanks this Winter and have both Blue and Hornorum/Mossambicus (all male offspring) breeding again.
Mr. Stork was a busy guy over the Thanksgiving Holiday. He delivered about 2,000 fry from eggs. These guys will be ready for sale as mixed sex fry/fingerlings in about 4 to 6 weeks. Let me know at hucks@iconnetwork, if you need new Blue Tilapia for your aquaponic or small commercial operation.
Why raise goldfish? Raise Tilapia and eat them down the road!

Hey Phil,
Thanks for the recommendation. Just got my system set up so Im not sure if Im ready to do any breeding. If I remember correctly, tilapia have a tendency to pull a Jurrasic Park and "life finds a way," themselves into breeding. Is that just for males or does that apply to females as well?
Doing some more reading on tilapia care: you got any resources? I think we would want 50 as the math we have done shows that we want about 40-45.
Thanks again Phil.
Joe
I sell in lots of 50 and 100. I have pure strain tilapia available. $1.25 each if you pick them up and $1.50 each if I have to ship. Advise if you need some.
Thats great! Thanks Phil I will keep you in the loop.
Hi Phil, i live in Seattle. Any chance I can come out and buy fingerlings from you?
Sure when do you want to drop by? You need an ice chest and an aerator or we can bag them for you to take home. How many do you want?
i remember seeing a post by you stating you sell in lots of 50 or 100. I guess I better start with 50. I am using gold fish for my system currently. I have a 50 gallon tank, and am looking to boost that to 250 with an IBC tote. You are selling IBC totes too, right?
yes. but you should start the Tilapia out in a 40 or 50 gallon aquarium. Do not mix Tilapia with gold fish. At their size the goldies will eat the tilapia. Get another aquarium, heater, filter on craigslist. you should be able to tap off you current air pump with a a couple stones in the new tank. Yes, I am selling IBCs, both open top and closed top.
Super! I have just what I need then. How much are the fingerlings? I will hold off on getting the IBC totes. I am trying to move so no need to collect more things...
Phil, how much are your fingerlings? when can i pick up? I live in south seattle

Price reduced to $1.00 each if you pick them up. I sell in quantities of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 etc.
My hot tub is going and I have started to cycle it. Its running about 70 right now. HOPEFULLY it will get up higher. it is a 400 to 600 gal. usable tub. So I wanted to let you know I still want the fish.
