Just getting started but I think you face conditions more like Yakima valley so I am very interested in how your project is going.

We're in the mountains of NE Washington.  Temps can get to -30, in the winter, up to 105, in the summer.  When we moved here, almost 5 years ago, everyone, I mean EVERYONE (ag. department, local extension office, folks at the conservation office, banks, etc) told us what we wanted to do (4 large, year round green houses and raising fish) was IMPOSSIBLE, CAN'T be done, etc.  We've been doing what we can, out of pocket, running small experiments and now, we're about ready do really get this thing going.  We have an 18x32 foot green house in route and we're looking forward to getting going in a big way!
