Thanks TC. I should of mentioned, yes, they have an ag permit. They just want blues, since they are the ones that withstand the cold best (for tilapia)  They had bought some other type, which died off in our cold winter.

I metioned catfish, but they dont eat them.

Yea, unless they have an aquaculture permit to buy other varieties, Morningstar is probably the most appropriate place.

If they have an aquaculture permit, they could purchase from Miami Aquaculture.

Hi, I'm working with a church in Orlando. I donated 40 blue tilapia to them. Now, they'd like to get more........Any sugggestions ? They probably are looking for a few hundred fingerlings.

I already mentioned Morningstar to them.

I'm thinking about getting an order of fish to quarantine here soon.  So I will need commitments from people who want me to get some for them while I am at it.  I'm going to go start a thread over in my group.

Hay Gene,  Here are a whole slew of fish posts in my blog, here is a link to that catagory

TCLynx Fish Posts

I like Channel Catfish as I don't need to heat the water for them as you do if you grow Tilapia and they get bigger faster.  Blue Gill are another option if growing big fast is not a priority.

If you ever get over into the middle of the peninsula, let me know I'm near Mount Dora, and one of the stops on the upcoming tour.
