<p>I am working to bring fry of pure strain T. Hornorum improved body male (nicknamed Wami) Tilapia and pure strain African O. Mossambicus females to breeding colony size. A breeding colony consists of 5 pure strain African O. Mossambicus females and one (1) pure strain T. Hornorum improved body male. Offspring Fry grow to market size with proper feeding, aeration, water temperature and water…</p>

Has anyone utilized solar hot water systems to heat or ground source heat pumps to cool aquaponics systems? I considering alternatives to lighten electricity/ natural gas load as much as possible in a system I am planning. Not too much info out there except for folks who want to heat a swimming pool or put in a radiant floor in their home....

I have been working on a tank heater for a long time , i made it out of a hot water heater element, and it works great, check it out on youtube aquaponics/hydroponics (fish tank heater) made simple. I have been keeping my fish tank at 75 is that the best temp i have catfish and bream.
