Which "Desert Plants" would you like to grow?

While I do not see the need to grow aloes in my system (they are native to South Africa and the eastern Cape, and grow in my garden just on rain), I did look at another potential plant once. Aromatic geraniums are big money commercial plants, and I successfully grew one in my first system. The are also arid zone plants, and I did not know how it would do. It was in a permanently flooded gravel bed and still grew like magic.
What a great suggestion Kobus...I will try that. Looks like they will complement the roses that I am going to try to grow for my better half :-)
