I have plumbed two 100 gallon grow beds that drain into a 210 gallon fish tank.  I plumbed into the existing bulkheads in the Rubbermaid tanks instead of using Uniseals as originally planned.  It's working well, but I do have an ever so slight leak in both grow beds around the bulkhead gasket. It's not a lot of water, but it is a bummer.  I thought using the bulkhead would be the better option from a leak standpoint.

Any thoughts?

Is there any pressure against the pipe or bulkhead fitting that might be causing the gasket to not seal as well as it should?  Bulkheads are often a good choice but they can still leak if you are pushing the pipe in one direction or another to get the plumbing to fit together.  Bulkheads are not designed to take much stress.
Good idea. I will check that.
