Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

I couldn't find a direct link to it online, but page 22 of the June 2011 issue of I.D. Magazine has an interesting story about some of the hidden things found in various types of foods commonly sold and eaten in the U.S.

I will definitely never look at citric acid and pepporoni pizza the same way again.  This article is a prime example of why everyone should begin to develop their own alternative source of food and eat fresh, unprocessed, raw, organic, or aquaponic food whenever possible.

Agreed.. PS what was in the ronni?
Nitrosomines attributed to increased risk of alzheimers.

This is one of the reasons I ended up starting an aquaponics garden. I don't want to eat genetically modified organisms. I have no idea what they are or what the long term effects are going to be. They also do not put them on food labels even though they are in the food. The last time I checked everything in the food needs to be on the label! If they are so bad for you they don't want them on the labels then you know there is something wrong with the food supply.
