water tight coatings for wooden grow beds

I'm looking for a good food grade elastomeric coating to make my wood grow beds water tight.  Does anybody have any ideas?  Thanks  Doc

Hey Doc,

There are two ways to do this.  One you can use a epoxy paint to seal the wood edges.  The method I use on mine is polyurethane with a calking gun. 

If you are really serious about getting food grade material then the best you can do is silicone.  I don't know of anything else that works on wood beds too well.  Silicone has a tendency to come loose after a while.
