Where can you get cheap tanks in Australia? They all seem to be very expensive.

as in budget and a reasonable size say 200L or 300L Sydney

Very small tanks for an aquaponics system Allen...
You can get 500L tanks from Bunnings sometimes for less than $100....
Used by quite a few people... but not certified as "food safe" as such...
Your next best bet would be 1000L IBC's... which you can generally pickup for $100 - $150... sometimes cheaper...
