starting a bed
Starting a bed at this time of year if I am just starting out 1st bed in north Alabama what would be the best plant to grow?

Hi Thomas,
Its really a choice thing. A good idea, is to plant non fruiting crops(chive,lettuce,basil etc) at the startup for the first 6 months. After that you can add the more "demanding" fruiters like tomatoes and peppers etc.
