Has anyone tried raising shiners? I have been thinking about stocking the basement tank with shiners and artificial christmas tree branches and see if I can get them to do some egg laying, I also like to go fishing and it would be sweet to have live bait handy. I have been successfully raising goldfish and koi for 20 year in outdoor ponds and have to find homes every year for the numerous little ones. Info on raising shiners seems to be hard to find. Thoughts??
