Roofing Sheets

Has anyone got a link to someone using roofing sheet with cortex cover. The cover has holes for the pots to sit into and the water flows as in NFT.

Got any more details about this cortex stuff. Gotta be careful about certain materials (metals and any roofing materials that have anti mold treatments) and fish water but I don't know about this roofing sheet and cortex cover you are talking about.

The sheeting is 8 x 4 pvc box profile. The picture I saw on the web stated cortex cover which looks like 3mm white pvc sheeting. Someone is using this on a large scale going by the pic,unfortunately I can't find the site the pic was on. Any sheeting or cover will be carefully checked for food grade. If the box profile is 3" deep it is enough for nft so what max height of water is required? or would I be better using foam and floating like a mini raft?

NFT stands for nutrient film so it is just a thin layer or water flowing in the bottoms of channels for NFT.
