<p>Rice hulls are very absorbent, we use them to absorb oil on the race track instead of cat litter. Not sure they would be too good in a net pot though</p>

<p>Pete, Rice hulls work good for me. I use them every time I plant something in the dirt. Something I plan to try is carbonized rice hull. Think this would work even better.</p>
