ratio of media bed/ vertical growth to sump tanks

Hi there, I am making some final decisions related to starting a small backyard aquaponic business. I have taken a couple classes but am unable to find what I'm looking for in my notes. What is the required ratio of sump tanks to media beds? Is a sump tank required for each bed? How do I factor in the amount of vertical grow space that will be hanging above the media beds? Any one know where I can find the info in Sylvia's book or in the workbook from the Green Acres Aquaponic Farming - the complete course? Appreciate your advise. Nancy
