hello,

i've been a member for a while, but finally got our greenhouse built and our first system almost-running (cycling now).  i can't seem to find info relating to the pvc pipe inside our greenhouse and if it will eventually break down?

if so, it it worth painting the pipes?...or just replacing when the time comes (pvc is cheap)?

thanks

Some do paint PVC which is exposed to sun and there are paints specifically for that.  Also, they can be buried or covered with insulation, which will help stabilize water temperature.  The life expectancy is probably several decades, from what I've observed.

thanks for your input!
