   This is a subject that I have been trying to figure out for a while. Does anyone know how to calculate how many PPM NO3 a plant needs for its entire grow out?

Hi Steve, could you formulate your question differently...ppm (and it's equivalent mg/L) is just a measure how much of a given solute exists within a given solvent. (How much of 'something' is in solution). So it's hard to make heads or tails of what exactly it is (what info) that your after...

I guess another way to ask the question is how high does the N03 in my system need to be for the best results for my plants I am running fish less so fish death isn't a factor on N03.
