Hello, below is a question I sent to Polygal Multi-wall manufacturer this morning. If anybody can answer that would be great. I seriously doubt they will answer

Thank you..

Hello, I believe the best greenhouse covering is your Multiwall product. However as a DIY’er I’m a bit put off by the whole “Glazing System”. I have seen where you’re product has been used to make frame panels whereas the multiwall is sandwiched between wood members just like a picture frame with no obvious  draining system that the glazing system provides, when holes are drilled in the bottom aluminum glazing member. My question is how do you the Manufacturer feel about this process? I would love to utilize this “frame panel” building technique but am worried that if condensation builds up within the multiwall that it would drain down to the bottom frame member and slowly rot away. Thoughts please and here is a link to a builder who does this “picture frame” technique.

Maybe they don't worry about that because of the wood they use?

Naturally desiccating moisture, Incense Cedar eliminates algal and fungal buildup at seams where frame and glaze material meet.  Strength, termite and decay resistance, gorgeous knot structure and incredible dimensional stability make this locally sourced, kiln dried lumber ideal for greenhouse construction.
