Plant rot
Has anyone had a problem with rot on the stems of lettuce or other vegies? I have a grow bed with lettuce, and everything was great until yesterday I found 3 plants with large root systems, and upper plants growing but when I touched the plants they collasped and the stalks were rotted. I notice my clay media is not drying out as much as it has in the past so I am wondering if that is my problem. Any ideas?

Yes, I am encountering the same problem. I use pebbles, rather than clay for the aggegate. Be curious to see how this issue turns out...
