Pink spider plant

Hi everyone!
I hope you are doing well. My name is Waqar and I am a new gardener. I just ask you something related to pink spider plant growing. Recently I was reading a blog post related to pink spider plant. Actually, I planted pink spider plant in my garden by following the same guidelines. And I am pretty glad to say that it was really a good experience ever. The question I want to ask is please tell me is this a common way or not? because one of my gardener friends told me this is not a good way to grow pink spider plant. Please someone guide me is it right or not?

i know nothing of this plant but you will want to research its natural elevation i believe, try to partialy domesticate local fruits! whats your elevation?
