A bit of a mystery- all my water tests are normal, I haven't sprayed my plants with anything, and they are regularly fed. It had been dead no more than 12 hours. It was floating, noticably inflated, no skin discoloration, eyes were cloudy white, gills looked healthy, and its flippers pointed straight forward very oddly.
Should I just accept that it was a freak health problem or should I do something? Its been 24 hours since I found the floater and all the other fish are fine.
Although fish never die without reason, if your other fish look fine and you can't find anything wrong with your water, I'd let it slide and not worry about it. If the other fish start lookin' stressed out or you get another death, then we'll know something seems a little fishy. Sometimes they just die.
