I picked up 12 275 gal totes that have residues from a clay based mulch dye. Will this dye be toxic to aquatic life after I do a thorough cleaning? I plan on raising crayfish. I know that invertebrates are sensitive to heavy metals. Any ideas on cleaning these totes? I plan on pressure washing them and maybe some chlorox soaking.
Heavy metal also rots the brain and causes one to make dumb jokes. But, thanks for the laugh. It's something I would have done if given the opportunity.

Hmm, really? Invertebrates are sensitive to heavy metal? 'Cause I don't have a spine and I listen to lots o' heavy metal
