Looking for fish in California

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this sight and to aquaponics and am still trying to get my system set up. I am looking for some fish for my system. I was going to use tilapia but found out that I cannot have them in Kern County. Does anyone know where I can get any bluegill or crappie fingerlings. I'm not really interested in catfish but would go with perch if I could get some.

Bluegill are being offered once a month at Freshwater Fish Company. They are open this Saturday

Yellow perch are off-limits statewide. I collected my bullheads from the pond in a local park. If I wanted to collect bluegills there it would just be a matter of using a bobber instead of a sinker.
