Introduction and a question?

I'm been interested in aquaponics for a long time, I have had aquariums for a long time and last year I began gardening(not so serious) so my the next logical thing would be aquaponics.

I don't' think I'm going to start a system soon but its on my plans.

I'm also a student of photography and I'm currently working in a short film and I would like to be about aquaponics. 

I was wondering if somebody from the Sacramento area is interested to contribute to this project. What I am looking for is somebody that have some knowledge already that can talk about aquascaping but I will accept any kind of help too!
