But your question is intriguing, and I do believe I will have to consider the possibilities. I have a friend that raised fish for 20y and he would have the answers to whether or not they will last or not. I do know that people that have ponds for Koi they go into a state of hibernation during cold weather. So I would believe that Bluegill and Perch do the same. My…</p>

I struggle with the idea because I don't see how fish would ever grow to edible size in one growing season here in the land of possible 0 degree weather. A greenhouse is out of the question in my neighborhood. If I could have a greenhouse it would be a no brainer.
