The following site drew my interest in elevating CO2 levels in my greenhouse:

Anyone interested? or knowledgeable?

Hey Robert, I am also interested in C02 for plants.  Ive read many commercial hydroponic greenhouses use C02 tanks or burners.  I was considering growing mushrooms in a section of greenhouse.  Not sure the amount of C02 they produce, but with the proper airflow and balancing, might have potential as a symbiotic relationship, also might be a good anti-fungal, antibacterial living air filter.

Those guys are funded by coal and oil, I would get my science elsewhere.

Found an interesting article that talks about C02 in growing.  Apparently there is a company that sells non-fruiting mushroom bags for of C02 production.  They say their XL bag will cover a 6x6 grow-space.

the flow rate they claim-
0.5 ft³ per minute of 2500-3000ppm enriched CO2.
130,000 cubic feet 2500-3000ppm enriched CO2 over 6 months

I wouldn't buy any expensive grow bags if I were you. thoughts numbers seem a little suspect to me. if you want a cheap way to increase the co2 , just use baking soda and vinegar. beside you due not have to have a high supply all the time. It is only during the day when photosynthesis is occurring that the plants take it in, and at night the plants release co2.

Thanks for your input! I am thinking of enclosing one of my AP grow beds to research this topic

Thanks, but I don't trust political tripe, to make scientific judgements.

The following address the subject of CO2 and are not  intended to stir the fires of science vs religion. I
