Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

So I live near a lot of farms and I can easily get IBC totes that were for holding glyphosate (a kind of roundup).  Now at first I thought these were unusable, but I did a little more research, and I'm thinking after pressure washing and scrubbing the container it may be safe.  Obviously, being a herbicide, it poses a threat to the system, but can it be cleaned?

Any thoughts out there experts?

While I'm ok with using IBC's that once contained fertilizer.  I would not personally fell comfortable using something that previously contained a herbicide like glyphosate or roundup.  We are already being fed enough residues of this stuff in the genetically engineered plants that are grown for food that can be sprayed with this stuff.  I wouldn't want to add any more of it to my diet.
