A really interesting greenhouse design is the Solaroof http://www.solaroof.com/ http://www.solaroof.org/. It is basically a double lined greenhouse that releases bubbles between the two barriers to protect against heat or cold. This type could be built using the basic hoop design below... just doubling it to create your double barrier. I plan on experimenting with the solaroof come spring. Really looking forward to it.

For a basic design you can also look at http://www.albertahomegardening.com/how-to-build-an-inexpensive-hoo.... This is a good cheap design. I would reccomend using a T on the ends and a + intersection on the tops rather than using ties. But thats just me.
