True, unless you did it in a media bed and adjusted your flooding to keep the media very dry.

I know that in the Napa Valley wine region of California the reason for the great wine grapes is that there is very little to no rain during the summer. The less rain the grapes get the sweeter the fruit. In an AP system the constant water wouldn't allow the sugars to develop as well.

Hi Richard

Oh really ! Yeah, I agree with you that the less rain the grapes get the sweeter the fruit. Well, your iformation really help me understand more about grapes. Thanks!

Hi Rick

Thank so much for your information and link. Could you tell me how long it take to bear you fruit?

Well, I planted it too late (June) for last year's blossoming and fruiting season, so it will be about a year for mine. But I expect that a healthy vine transplanted into Aquaponic media in winter will indeed develop some roots, leaves, flowers and fruit for the spring/summer crop.

Rick

Oh, It take one year to bear you fruit! What is your idea about planting strawberries in Asian country like Cambodia?
