Wow, thanks for the link Bob. Chalk yet another one up for the Evil 'M'-pire...Got to hand it to 'em, they sure know how to play (and rig) the Game...while the rest of us seem to be fast asleep. What ever happened to good old fashioned boycotts?

"while the rest of us seem to be fast asleep"

My point exactly and why I will not give up on ringing the alarm(s). The liberals here in the states are about to have their bell(s) rung. Mark my words, this will go down in history as the most corrupt administration in US history. These children we have running amuck in Washington are in the process of being exposed by the adults in the room. Stay tuned for the fireworks. I have so many links that expose the ties between this administration and the UN and Monsanto and the banks and.... that I know not where to begin and don't really feel this to be the right forum for such UNLESS it involves our AP systems in some way. I.e. Monsanto, chemtrails, etc.. You know, our health and that of our families. May the protests begin.

Here is just an example of what this administration does to those that would expose them:

http://topprioritymovie.com/

"National Security/Anti-Terrorism Expert, former Customs and Border Protection Officer Julia Davis was branded a “Domestic Terrorist” for exposing glaring shortcomings within the U.S. national security establishment. The film supports its powerful statement with incredible court rulings, hard hitting facts, video and audio recordings. There has never been a case of this magnitude, including a Blackhawk helicopter raid of the whistleblower’s residence with a Special Response Team, two malicious prosecutions and false imprisonments, four witness deaths, a Hollywood starlet, the mob working in concert with the Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement (DHS/ICE) to silence a brave truth-teller and her supporters."

There is a special place in Hell for these people.

Liberal or Conservative it all amounts to the same thing Jim...Besides wasn't it King George I (Bush Sr.) who got the ball rolling for Monsanto in the first place. And didn't Monsanto get the gist of their people positioned in US government during King George II reign...Republican/Democrat...Liberal/Conservative, I hardly think it matters Jim...It's like the left hand blaming the right hand, when they're both just extensions of the same beast...

Those are "conservative" in name only. They are politicians first. Say what you like but right now it is the liberals in charge that are destroying what used to be a good idea. How do you know when a politician is lying? Surely I don't need to answer that. Bashing Bush won't help the present direction we are taking here. He (Bush) is a big OWO advocate as can be seen in many a speech. Monsanto is just a part of that. You won't hear me apologizing for the Bushes. Sad to say those were the good old days compared to the present danger. The big banks are the villains.

The way I see it is is a non-partison problem but endemic to the whole government. The politicians like their rhetoric and choose which way they go by whatever  keeps them in office, NOT by what may be best for the populace at large. How many times do you hear about a regulation hurting business and therefore  impacting jobs? Or letting another group get by with polluting because it will create jobs? Then all scream about costs but do nothing to curtail costs their regulations incur.

I'll give you a simple example and only one part of that problem... Health care.  The other day I heard about some orthopedic/spine SALES PEOPLE making $600K per year, far more than the surgeon himself. Plus you know the company is making a profit even after the MASSIVE costs of getting a product approved for use. What most people do not realize is that if a company takes a good product and makes even a minor change, it has to go through the whole bureaucracy getting the change approved. This amounts to major dollars. who picks up the tab?  this is but one example of the paperwork shuffle that increases costs.

BUT you hear a politician talking about insurance.and if a person has insurance they are taken care of....or how the cost of providing that insurance will bankrupt the country, depending which side of the aisle he is on. NEITHER side is going to address the real issues.

Pat,    BINGO!

Yay! A new breed of 2,4 D (Agent Orange) resistant GM crops have finally been approved by the USDA!!!

http://www.foodandwaterwatch.org/pressreleases/approval-of-24-d-tol...

"The draft Environmental Impact Statement released by the USDA received nearly 400,000 comments from farmers, farmworkers, health professionals and members of the public in March, and the EPA’s analysis of Dow’ “Enlist” 2,4-D formulation in July triggered additional petition signatures from over 500,000 people urging the agencies not to approve these new GMO crops". - So much for that whole "write to you Congressman strategy"...

Hurrah.

:P

Anybody know any good Agent Orange recipes?

Yes, Creme de la non-Hodgkins lymphoma will be 'all the rage' at restaurants and grocery stores across the country :)

I always heard the problem with agent orange was the impurities, especially dioxin. Not that I'm advocating it's use, but I hear that today's properly manufactured 2,4 D is a lot safer than agent orange was.

Unless you buy it from china, where evidently dioxin isn't such a big worry.
