electric brass valves

Hi I'm in the middle of construction of my main automated system I use pvc everywhere except the control valves they are brass solenoid valves controlled by float switches and a plc my question is I hear that copper is a no go but brass unsure about? Again this is the only place in my system that uses brass, the main reason why I got these valves is because they are zero minimum psi to operate I've tried plastic valves in the past but they had to be a minimum of 8 to 10 psi and my pump will only go to 6 so if there is another option I'm open ears thanks
