Some duckweed got pumped out of my fish tank into my two grow beds (constant flood and fill/drain).  I tried to pick it all out, but you know, I'm pretty sure I didn't get it all.  Should I be concerned?  Should I cover the area where it went into the grow bed to try to kill it?  I'm worried with it's growth rate, it could take over my grow bed.

Thanks for any advice you have!  :)

I dont forsee the duckweed being a problem, it shouldnt interfere with the growth of your plants, it will probably work itself back out into your fish tank with the ebb and flow system.

if you want to avoid the situation in the future, try putting a filter sponge around the pump inlet, they have them for pond pumps that still allow for the full flow of water into the pump.   Or put a screen around your pump, or make the water in your tank deeper (if possible)
