Dirty Cats or Dirty IBC

I have a question, I'm raising about 13 channel cat in a 255 IBC and after I cleaned my bio filters and did a 25% water change my water is a brownish murky color and suggestions?

It sounds like some fines became suspended again (during your cleaning) and should settle back out. What was the reason for the water change?

I thought that two but two weeks have passed since I cleaned the biofilters. Maybe a second water change would help, or check my pump or biofilter for problems.

Water is no longer clear in a maturing system but sort of an amber color. Perhaps that is what you see. It shouldn't be necessary to change the water unless nitrites/ammonia are too high. What type of filtering to you have? Do you have a gravel bed also?
