Designing system software

Hello again,

 

After browsing through so many system designs and now I finally understand how this Aquaponic works (the basics), I would like to design my system and have you guys critique.  What software do you use?  I prefer a very easy to use software, not CAD.

I usually do very basic block diagrams in paint but they are very basic.

 

Many people have used google sketch up to great effect but I haven't gotten good with it myself.

Try Google's Sketch Up.  It's a free program in which even professional designers of various fields use all the time.  There are even free symbols to use by searching online.  We used Sketch Up for our model shown on here.
